I went to the storage unit and found some paintings I had forgotten about. This one was done in 2008 when I was very pregnant with my last son. I thought these cd holders I had would be great as a surface for little paintings. It serves as a frame at the same time.
This is... well this is a puzzle for the eyes. When I first opened your post I thought it's the world, but as I study your piece it turns into a girl, then the image changes again....

Wow. I never thought it would have that effect. I guess because I painted it and I know what it is, I only see it one way. It's a self-portrait of me, very pregnant :)
